PLAYGROUND4ALL
Playground4All is a programme that revitalises and activates sports facilities in vulnerable communities. In addition to upgrading infrastructure, it promotes inclusive activities, trains community leaders and implements sustainability models that ensure self-sufficiency and the continued revitalisation of these spaces.

THE PROBLEM
-
Migrants and refugees face difficulties in social integration and a high risk of isolation, often exacerbated by cultural and linguistic barriers.
-
Limited access to regular sports and leisure activities, making it difficult to create healthy routines and belonging.
-
Barriers to contact with the host community and few opportunities to build networks of trust and active participation.

THE ANSWERS
Playground4All's responses include initiatives that revitalise spaces and promote inclusion through sport. These include EDP Clube Runners, Home Club and LRS Playground4All, which create new opportunities for vulnerable young people and communities.
EDP Clube Runners promotes free access to athletics for young people aged between 8 and 16 from vulnerable communities.
Home Club is a project that promotes the independence of young people in care through sport and personal development.
LRS Playground4All is an innovative project that is revitalising and activating sports facilities in the Quinta da Fonte and Quinta do Mocho neighbourhoods in Loures.
