PLAYGROUND4ALL

Playground4All is a programme that revitalises and activates sports facilities in vulnerable communities. In addition to upgrading infrastructure, it promotes inclusive activities, trains community leaders and implements sustainability models that ensure self-sufficiency and the continued revitalisation of these spaces.

THE PROBLEM

  • Migrants and refugees face difficulties in social integration and a high risk of isolation, often exacerbated by cultural and linguistic barriers.

  • Limited access to regular sports and leisure activities, making it difficult to create healthy routines and belonging.

  • Barriers to contact with the host community and few opportunities to build networks of trust and active participation.
