CLUBE ESCOLHAS
It's a social and sports tournament contested by clubs created for this purpose in the communities where the Escolhas Program operates. In a unique experience of association, young people must create and manage their own club, participating in activities that promote a set of social and professional skills, as well as active citizenship. The tournament's competitive system evaluates athletic performance, academic behavior, club management, and participation in community activities.

THE PROBLEM
-
Children and young people in vulnerable contexts have limited access to quality sports and educational activities.
-
Lack of safe and inclusive spaces increases the likelihood of isolation, school dropout, and reduced community participation.
-
The increase in physical inactivity among young people compromises health, well-being and social integration.

THE ANSWER
The Clube Escolhas methodology is based on a sports tournament in which young people, with guidance and training, create and manage their own club. In addition to on-field competition, the program includes missions related to club management and community participation, as well as the implementation of "school contracts," which add points to sports results and contribute to the overall standings. These contracts encourage commitment to school and translate into increased academic performance, making education an integral part of the game. Taken together, these tools engage participants, reinforce a sense of responsibility, and develop social, educational, and citizenship skills.
